"I will make the world the way I like it." True to Pippi Longstockings motto, the Belgian performance duo Robbert&Frank / Frank&Robbert fashion their world like a mix of David Lynch, Karl May and Mary Poppins. "Alchemists of the visual arts" - that is how Frank Merkx and Robbert Goyvaerts refer to themselves. They become the cowboys of slapstick as they transform their initially deserted stage into a feast of the fantastical. It quickly becomes clear: Nothing is as it seems.
