Based on interviews with children, a touching dialogue unfolds about what really matters in life: family, home country, nationality and gender, happiness and sorrow or taste in music and pizza toppings. "Chalk About" plays off of the expression "to talk about" and the verb "to chalk", as in using chalk to write with. In this work, something between a dance performance and a play staged with simple means, the performers engage in a pulsating, optimistic manifesto on human diversity.
