In addition to serving as a workshop festival for the children and youth theatre scene in NRW, WESTWIND considers itself an impulse- giving, international platform that enables continuous professional exchange beyond state borders. Which themes and aesthetic formats do WESTWINDs international guests focus on in their productions, and how do they compare to those of NRW-based artists? Where can we identify similarities and thus further development possibilities or cooperation opportunities? What experience have others had with target audiences? Moderated by Mijke Harmsen, the international guests will present their work and reflect on their experiences at the festival thus far. Establishing a dialogue with the audience is a key focus of this event. All of our audience members, theatre professionals and guests are cordially invited to participate in the brunch and the ensuing conversation.
